Some would consider that a downgrade. :)

But it really depends on what you're doing. If it's back-end stuff, with 
a certain level of security, access to network and/or database 
resources, external libraries, source code consistency checkers, there 
aren't many things that can beat Java.

If it's anything else, there are quite a few that can beat Java. :)
