Yeah, I forgot to say: Cost is an issue because I need so much i/o.
Initially I need about 24 ins and say, 8 outs so any of the more pedigree
solutions will just end up being stupid money.

I might try one of the Behringer ADA8000s. Ive seen a few second hand ones
for about £100 (160 new).  At least this way I can A/B it with my existing
SoundCraft 328 desk before selling it if the Behringer sounds okay.

Working - sucks!
