It's a cut 'n' shut C64 Breadbox upholstered in red leather (all those
red cows hate me) with brass plates.
All sockets are Neutrik, the power switch is reclaimed from a 1970's hifi.
A non-detent (took them out) rotary encoder (might turn a flat knob from
hardwood/brass) and tactile switches.
Blue EL backlight 2x20 LCD tweaked quite dim and a reversible socket for
bi-colour Red or Green power LED.
All midi and audio wiring is shielded, the PSU is built around the orig
C64 Power supply, uses high quality caps ( and has separate reg for SID,
Core Module and EL HV circuit, otherwise noise bleeds into the audio
outs. The audio jacks are shunted to ground on cable removal of course
and all that..
And slightly tweaked midibox OS goes without saying!
Donkey Kong?!
Here's an audio clip of two old favs from this exact box played through
MIDI with ASID and the MBHP_SIDPlayer:

Nice and clear, no FX, mono.
