BTW, there's another issue:
The maximum frequency of the signals I use!
Quite often I work with beating effects where the single wave's
frequency or some harmonics of it is/are way above our hearing range.
So with the VCO cycling at some 30kHz a standard digital matrix would
render the signal useless.
So in my system (knowing what the VCOs and filters are cabable of) a
sampling frequency in the 88.2/96kHz range would be necessary.
So this entire thing isn't going any better :-(
