Back in 2000 for the Brave New World tour Priest (really Halford [Rob
Halford's post-Priest new band]) & Queensryche opened for Maiden. How
things have changed eh? Maiden's still staying relevant after 28
years, even with all the musical style changes in between. They still
have their core fan base, and get new metal-heads into the cause every
year. And even in their 50's they still rock a live show better than
modern nu-metal bands half their age. That's what has kept them going
strong all these years, their live shows are really as good as if not
better than the studio albums.
