yeah, Logic 8 is the same...

I just got used to every channel having compressor, limiter, 5 band
parametric eq, phase invert, meters and 8 fx sends/inserts.

At least now I can create sub groups for mixes of things like drums and
apply fx to the group without having to bounce.
