DAW + Video Editing. Good Idea?

Hey all

 

I now have the rather excellent Song Vegas and Sony DVD Architect.  I have
installed these on my general PC which is fast-ish but not the same bucket
of sex that my DAW is..

 

Question: Would you comfortably install video editing software on your music
PC?  I'm pretty careful/paranoid about my music PC so no internet and only
the select few music applications that I use.  Would Video software start to
cause conflicts and general performance issues?

 

Ta for any suggestions..
