Working through the tutorial I have managed to figure out how to create
a basic setup for my synths:

Layer 1 with 4 objects:

Object 1 = Pro One
Midi Port 1
Midi Channel 1

Object 2 = Prophet 5
Midi Port 1
Midi Channel 2

Object 3 = SH5
Midi Port 1
Midi Channel 3

Object 4 = Voyager
Midi Port 2
Midi Channel 4

The tutorial however was written and demonstrated on Logic 7 which is a
bit different from Logic 8.
It said by clicking on the channel name in the arrange page a selection
menu should pop up which allows you to select which layer and object
from the environment . It seems in Logic 8 this has changed and I can' t
seem to figure out how to do this. Any ideas??
