It is, indeed. It still has this very distinct air force base feeling to
it when you drive to the airport, with the old buildings still there.
Most of them are no longer in use, although it seems that there's
eventually some local businesses moving into these premises (I remember
there was exactly nothing a year ago, but I saw a couple of business
signs up now).

If it wasn't for the absolutely horrendous public transport links (you
have to *call* a bus to get you to the nearest train station, which
isn't anything particularly big either), I'd actually quite like the
airport.

Traveling, yes, I've done my share this year... I'm really looking
forward to a month *at home*.
