Sounds all too familiar...
I actually moved house four weeks ago as well. Took me ages to just get
a phone line (don't ask me about BT...), and I finally got broadband
last Friday. Apart from those communication issues, the move went
smoothly, though, and the studio was set up about a week after we moved
in already, with a few additional tweaks and acoustic treatment. Ahhh,
finally some space! And it sounds a lot better than before, even though
I didn't upgrade any equipment.

I like the idea of grouping things. I didn't really break up my rig,
though, but rather consolidated all keys to a single big stand for easy
access. However, a whole bunch of FX units were moved away to a new
guitar rig with its own submixer, so my DP4 finally sees some use again...

Hmmm... One big question: How are you going to distribute midi clock?
I can't offer any advice on current products - I'm still perfectly happy
with my pair of emagic AMT8. But whatever you buy, make sure it handles
clock well.
Bye
