Still no Catalina support for Virus TI integration

Agree with Jay.  I, personally, never got it to run stable.   There are now many more cost effective alternatives to the Virus, I think it’s day is over.  It certainly has not evolved in a long time.

"The current version of the Virus TI software suite is not 100% compatible with macOS 10.15 Catalina. What does that mean? Our preliminary tests with the final version of Catalina show that Virus Control opens and MIDI works but audio transport from and to the Virus TI doesn't work. Also, the core audio driver doesn't transport audio, so you cannot use the Virus as an audio interface for e.g. itunes.
Furthermore, as previously announced, Virus Control Center doesn't work anymore and there will be no replacement for the forseeable future.
We will posts news and up-to-date compatibility statements once available.

Not a single word since then, I wonder if they’ll just run away…

There’s little interest in sorting this situation out, imho.  Integration using proprietary technology was always a mistake, and not really excusable from my perspective.
