Well, quite a few of my colleagues use the laptop screen (12.1" wide 
screen 1280x800) with the separate monitor (22" wide screen 1680x1050), 
but it freaks me out. Even virtual desktops don't work very well for me. 
                      But chucking things in a dock, that I like.
