I walked into a branch of my bank near the beginning of this 'crunch'.

All I wanted to do was deposit some money, but ended up walking out with 
another, upgraded account and a credit card with nearly £1000 credit 
available.

I told the guy I had no reliable income, yet he insisted I have a credit 
card. No man should be without one kind of thing ::)

lol.

Credit crunch indeed.
I shall never use it, unless it's for purchase protection.
Haven't needed that yet..
