Eventide DSP4000 in 2026

I’ve a synth that’s been for sale for a while, and the only nibble so far
has been an offer to trade for a DSP4000. I’m intrigued, but have some
concerns about irreplaceable parts, common failures, etc. I know there are
a few heads, here. Are there obvious things I should look at or ask about?
Do these have a “test mode” similar to that found on the old Elektrons?
Man, that was handy…
