Korg upgrades and new synth

I never trust what I hear online, and I expect presets to be terrible (they almost always are).  I can say the WaveState and OpSix sound really, really good despite their abysmal construction.   I've heard the Multi/Poly is slightly better built having at least  metal front panel (though the body is still plastic).

To tell the truth, the architecture is really like a souped up Radias, which I still own.  I think the only thing missing would be a bank of samples it could use for one of the oscillators (that's how you do poor man's wave sequencing on the Radias).  I suppose if they did that, though, they'd be infringing on the WaveState's market share.

I keep waiting for Korg to take all of these devices and shovel them into one bigger workstation type box like the Koronos.

Have you had a chance to check one out in person?  The feature set
seems awesome but the online demos are pretty mid based on the ones I
watched.  Seemed on the thin and wispy side compared to the one VA I
currently own - the Roland System-1m.
