I'd say 90% of that, for me, is that the Gotek's, if they do have screens, suck.  I hate using them. Particularly with my eyesight.

like watching retro-computing videos, but I have zero interest in actually engaging in it. Trying to maintain vintage synths is already a challenge, and they have far fewer moving parts.
