howdy from Canada (new band plus what you up to?)

Over the pandemic, and just because Ive always been a collector, the studio became an unmanagable pile of half connected gear.  This is when I saw a video on installing slatwalls and started installing them.   They are great space savers, if you have the ability to put holes in the walls (which I do).   It looks a little music-store-showroom-esq, but I kinda like that aesthetic.

I also organized the studio into 'zones' of interest.  Ive got a live play zone with all my desktop boxes, my modular/analog zone and then a keyboard zone.  The last zone is my "if you walked into a guitar center in 1998" zone of old stuff.

Also, my iMac gave up the ghost, and I upgraded to a MacStudio.  Its amazingly fast compared to the 2015 imac it replaced.   It actually runs Live and is pleasant to use.    Im also using RTP for the MIDI and AVB for the audio and it all works better than expected.   It's kind of seemless, actually.

What comprises the "new studio rig"?  Are you talking synths, DAW setup
