If I were more mobile, I’d see the value of it.  This could be the perfect companion to an iPad/iPhone or even one of the current MPC line or Akai Force.  It has a built in synthesizer and drum machine, so its more than just a mixer, too (but I can’t imagine working with that tiny, tiny screen to be any fun at all).    I may sound blasphemous but I think it’s a bit too small.  My hands are by no means big, but this thing is TINY.

If it were $899, I’d probably spring for it in a moment of weakness, since it does fill a niche in my studio…$1199 is a tough sell, though.

It’s cool…but I’m just not convinced its $1200 worth of cool.

Doesn’t 1010 make something similar that’s half as much?

Yea but the OP-1 was $849 and it’s a full fledged multitrack instrument. This is a mixer/interface where you can barely make finger contact with the faders.

I like it, but could never justify it.
