Ok, if size is that much of a concern, you'll obviously be better off with rack mixer/interface. The Presonus Studiolive 24R or 32R come to mind - it doesn't get much smaller than these with a large number of inputs. I would definitely miss the hands-on interface though.

No, I did actually mean the M32R. It's perhaps not big for what it does, 
but it's big nonetheless, like the 01V is big.

You may remember my living room, and there's only so much space. Plus, I 
really need to reorganise everything.
