I met Mr. Bob Moog at that NAMM, that year, and shook his hand and had a small chat with him.  It was 2 minutes of end-of-NAMM privacy, things getting shut down at the last day of the show .. he was still cheerful and happy to chat about synths.  Best NAMM experience ever.
