Not been my experience .. I have both 2016 and 2017 MBP’s, high end, and the 2016 model is definitely more robust, and functional because of the ports - but the 2017 is just so much more comfortable to use (once Touch Bar is disabled)…

Still, I remain on the lookout for a non-Apple laptop that feels as good in the hands .. after all its an object I spend hours fondling every day.  Can’t stand plastic crap!
