Speaker advice/non-near field, for jamming

 Hi Joost,
The bar here in SF where I do my monthly dj gig (Noc Noc) doesn't have any good monitors and I have been carrying a pair of Mackie CR range of speakers (I have the CR 3, which is perfect for the booth).  They sound really good for just general utilitarian speakers, and very reasonably priced.
