If you want weird, find a used PolyEvolver.   It will actually punish you if you try to make it sound ’normal’.  The weirder you go, the better it sounds.   Still got mine I bought in 2004, serial #15, and you all know how rare it is for me to keep gear. Only thing I’ve had longer is my Korg Prophecy (also an excellent choice for weird)

Also, have a look at the Arturia Matrix Brute.  I didn’t initially like it, but fell in love with it when I got to play it in a private suite at KnobCon last year.
