live question about panning

So, I've got an RME soundcard with a ridiculous amount of inputs... 
whatever.

I've got a patch set up on the modular that's actually 2 voices, one 
panned right and one panned left.

WHen I record it into a stereo track in live, it's hard panned 
left/right. I don't want that, I want them 'soft' panned like say 30%. 
How does one do that?
I would really hate to use to mono tracks in live and use a bus or 
whatever to get the panning right.

This should be obvious, but somehow I can't find a good way  how to do this.
