For some reason, this song always makes me thing about Oingo-Boingo.  I dunno why.  Maybe its the cadence of the verses .. I could really hear Danny Elfman singing it.  Strange confluence

And as always Kim, your cover is very inspiring!  Every year I hear one from you, and think "man, I should do a cover", cat-reading-newspaper style .. ;)
