Not sure if I mentioned it in MB before as I really didn’t take about it at all online but: we had a fire 18 months back.  It didn’t cause any structural damage but it took out all of upstairs and a few rooms downstairs due to smoke damage.  We were in a hotel for about 3 months then rented for 6 months.  Got back home about 4 months ago as and spent a huge amount of time installing a new kitchen and doing two rooms that were not covered by insurance.  Ive had a bit of kit for the last 18 months but a very small amount.  Im very close to having my new studio finished but again, no kit setup yet.  The fire was all fine.  No one was hurt.  Didn’t lose any synths.  House has been completely re-done so we feel pretty lucky really.  Kids - don’t leave laptops plugged in for extended period!!! I was frustrated at first, until I did a few tutorials (Youtube) .. but man, it packs an amazing amount of punch.  But, one thing .. how the F* are *you* of all people, nearly without your kit for 18 months?  Don't you have, like, the most awesome battlestation on the -bar?    j.
