My 2011 MacBook recently broke and I had to buy a replacement, decided on the 15" touchbar model which comes with sierra. No problems at all with logic, live, audacity, max, sonic Pi. Also: it's a bit ridiculous, but my fire face 400 still works, through two adapters (usb-c to thunderbolt, thunderbolt to FireWire)
