Lovely bit of kit, Jay.

I think the price will be difficult for some people as we are so spoilt these days.  Ignoring the buttons, a quick bit of maths on the Akai MIDImix comes in at under $3 per controller vs $50 for a Palette controller.

Clearly completely different leagues so just saying....

But a quality product like this will always sell well..
