new roland on 909 day

I believe everyone knows it?

but Roland is bringin out a VP-03, vocoder, a TB-03 and a TR-09 on 909 day (among other stuff)

I’m looking forward to trying that vocoder…. But I just ordered a “nava” (DIY 909 clone, the sister of the “Yocto” 808 clone) so I won’t even look at the TR09..;)

with all the clones, it’s probably superfluous, but who knows. variation isn’t bad. my favorite clone of the 303 is the Acid8 by twisted electronics. Not that anyone (much less me) would need another 303 at all…;)

What do you think? and also of the Korg Volca Kick? I must admit that I don’t really get “kick” synths. is that really useful to anyone?
