Guys, Bitwig

Hi!

Cool. I just installed the latest beta. I’ll try to give it a go. Moved from PC / Sonar to Mac / Logic about three years ago. I always thought Sonar was really intuitive (I had been using it since Cakewalk version 2), but in the end I had some serious crashing problems with it. There are some thing about Logic that I don’t quite grasp yet (MIDI stuff mostly seems a bit odd to me), but otherwise I’m slowly getting the hang of it and I actually quite like it (I spend too little time making music). I miss the MDI interface of Sonar, though.

My brother is on Windows / Cubase, and if Bitwig seems good enough, we’ll both get it, which makes collaboration much easier. It appears to support Gobbler as well, which is great!

So thanks for reminding me :-)

Cheers,

Kim

I started using it because it fully supports the seaboard Rise, but as soon as I opened it I knew there was something here. Also love the little things, view multiple midi tracks as layers on top of each other, more freedom in layout, built in stuff sound nice so far, being able to add things like lfo's to your instrument and effects chains. While it certainly feels "young" compared to Live or Logic there is a lot here to like. I'm also over my previous issue of "they are just biting Live" cuz well this doesn't really feel or look like Live.
