No interesting news from the Musikmesse in Frankfurt?

I was wondering if something had gone on with Musikmesse this year..  A few weeks back someone at Modal Electronics said something about "we wont be going to Musikmesse this year and I think a lot of manufactures are doing the same"..  It was almost implied that there was a boycott going on but I could have completely got this wrong..
