I liked the 'trade was always meant to be free'comment.

I understand we humans introduced tolls, tariffs, taxes, duties and commissions many millenia ago! There's always a margin.

Great idea, but someone is making money. I am pleased to be corrected and be told this is a philanthropic initiative.

Also, it still requires a middle person and having that work on a large
scale would lead to the same situation we have currently with
processors taking a hefty cut of every transaction.
