So, I’ve been doing systems software development for embedded and linux and things for a few decades now, been a Linux user since day one, and so .. I’ve got a whole bunch of rPi’s and other things like it in my lab at the moment .. and I confess that the only reason I’m begging for it from Paul on the mag version is that it the event itself is an ideal that I have wanted to see for a long, long time, so the physical mag issue is to me, something I want to put up on the wall. Its not that I need a UKP5 computer that is ‘all the buzz’ right now, its just that the era of the UKP5 computer is here, and I wanna continue being a part of it.

The Pi Zero is pretty underwhelming in a few ways, but extraordinarily charming in many other ways too. I can’t wait until the magazine publishers realize what they’ve got in their hands, and start putting out their UKP10 computers that include screens, can be touched, &etc.
