I was going for a brassy sound and to be fair it was quick and I wasn't able to make the patch I wanted with the P6 in panel mode, there was weird modulation I didn't know how to turn off, and the presets that I was able to select were lame, I did find one patch that was close to the sound I wanted. 

To be all cliche like, the P5 just sounded warmer, rounded and more organic, and the P6 colder and brighter. I know some of this has to do purely with the age of the components. And I'm sure I could have got something much more to my liking if I had more time on the P6. Also the 6 can of course do way more in terms of sounds. 

The P5 was also $6800 :) 

I would def pick the P6 just because of logistical reasons. But I tell you it didn't have the immediate sound I expected. It sounded like a Dave Smith synth, which killed my lust a tiny bit.
