question for Live users with APC control

 Having a bored moment at home and looked up at my APC80 control unit sitting on the desk got me thinking, after watching jays link the other day with that clever midi sequencer and seeing some of the clever things the guys at synth diy were making, has anyone thought about or found an application that uses the APC as a sequencing interface within Live i'm sure its just a case of clever midi reprograming within max, but its something i'd have no idea of doing myself.
 
What i'm thinking is at first just a simple step sequencer that uses the sliders as selectable glide, volume, note, res and freq.
 
Anyone else thought about this or seen something similar online?
