Need more inputs....

Hi guys,
I want some more inputs on my DAW (windows).  Currently having 8 
inputs/outputs doesn't do it for me any more.
I did some reading and came up with 2 options;

get me a couple of these boys

And add an USB fader box thing to use as 'mixing' console.

I hate to go back to the behringer route for the ADA, but these are the 
only ones I can afford. Nice thing for the ADAT route is that you have 
some expert sleepers stuff that can be very interesting. On the other 
hand, the mixing desks I can use without the computer on, which 
increases my fun factor a lot.

Any input appreciated. Maybe I missed an obvious solution...
