My New Monitors: Equator D8

How so a game changer though? I'm finding my genelecs to be thoroughly amazing even still today.  Are the D8's giving you a feature, or some dynamic, that assists the process of mastering for  a broad spectrum? These are mastering, not listening, speakers right?
