Thoughts on NI Komplete 10 combined with the Komplete Kontrol S Keyboard?

Yes, for sure..  You never really own software like Komplete.  No matter how it is presented, you are in effect leasing it..

 

I had a bit of a play with Komplete over the weekend and realised there are several bits (expansion packs etc) that I have paid for over the years that now simply do not exist

 

I think it is fair to say that “buying” Komplete today will cost you an addition 100euro/year.  Saying this, I still think it is fantastic value and for people that are using it to its full potential (I don’t), its INCREDIBLE value..

 

Btw, RAZOR is a MUST HAVE!!!!  So simple to use but sounds incredible..  Im pretty sure it comes bundled in Komplete (but again, I original purchased this when it did not!!!!)

 Imo , Native instruments is all about upgrating / paying  stuff ...  good quality on the moment but, then in two years,  I won t be surprise that you have to buy / pay for new upgrades around 600 euro ?? ... to make it work on your new pc or your new daw etc etc ...

Also to need a  computer to run the keyboard  is a minus for me ... ( would be interresting  if it would work on Ipad  but then i guess there is no enough CPO ? ... )...

All in all you decide :)

I think I should read the manual. Could be something to do with

FM8 is also great fun. Lots of happy accidents to be had messing
around with the FM matrix. The synthesis engine is scarily deep,
but I quite like the odd deep dive into it at 2am after a few
glasses of red.
