Bråvalla festival

Went to Bråvalla festival with my daughter yesterday. It was here birthday present to go to her first concert and one of her favorite bands we're playing at the festival.

The bands we saw were: 

Slow Magic: One man band with a laptop, some controllers and two floor toms. I think some of you might like it.

Tiger Bell: Swedish girlrock/punk band. Good show and energy.

Graveyard: Swedish band playing 70's hardrock, not really our cup of tea so stayed very briefly at this one.

Nonono: Another swedish band but quite popular internationally as well.

Of Mice & Men: US, Metalcore, my daughters favs. Lots of energy so good for a festival but nothing I'd listen to at home :-)

Bastille: UK, pop, quite famous for their song Pompeii. Starting to be crowded, about 10000 in the crowd.

Family of the year: US, indiepop. On a smaller stage, nice and all but nothing that sticks out.

Bad Religion: US, I guess some of you punk souls have listened to them. They are old and it reflected on the stage show :)

The Afghan Whigs: US, alt rock. Good show and some nice songs.

The war on drugs: US, indie rock. Not my cup of tea so we split this hour with the next act.

Offspring: I guess introduction is unnecessary :-) Yeah the played all the old hits, including Pretty fly (for a white guy). About 20000 in the crowd so we were not in the front row on this one :-)

Adept: Swedish metalcore band. Great energy and the only show with pyros :-)
