I know exactly what you mean.

At the moment I have my electric guitar; it's so easy to pick it 
up for 5-10 minutes and play along with some YouTube backing track.

Doing Anushri stuff is still a bit more work, but I'm looking 
forward to Feb 15... (ok, it might be Feb 20, but then I will 
finally have some time on my hands :-)
