Dope matrix Ableton modular

Apparently it's sampled oscillators and some rack effects, with fancy hardware integration/sequencer. There a tutorial video on createdigitalmusic. 

How is no one calling them out on the fact that it's complete bullshit? Maybe it's cool on its own but "Virtual  Modular Synthesizer"?
