PC DAW Questions

Now you guys have got me thinking I really need update my DAW..

 

Traditionally, I have always had a completely separate PC for music.  Very
slimline with minimum internet connecting.  Clearly today it is impossible
to keep your DAW off the internet that that theory is now dead..

 

QUESTION 1:

Is there still value in having a separate DAW PC?

 

QUESTION 2:

What about a single very powerful PC with dual booting (working PC / DAW
PC)?

 

QUESTION 3:

Is there still value in going for a specialist DAW builder?  In the past I
have always done this and accepted the extra 20% it probably has cost me.
But, my current very powerful Dell internet PC is completely silent so
again, Im wondering if this theory is also dead..?
