By Pulse Code, Inc. They were originally from the underground PSP homebrew scene and created PSPRhythm from 2005-2008. They then branched into iOS development, creating DB-303 (a TB-303 clone), BtBx (a simple drum machine with a handful of drum & synth sounds and simple sequencer). After those 2 simple apps, they created Rhythm Studio, a full-featured mini studio ala ReBirth & Reason, with 808 & 909 clone modules, VA, FM, SuperSaw, S&H modules, etc.

I just found out they recently released their latest app: Modular. A full-featured analog modular synth with multiple modules that can be plugged in (some free, others $.99 each). They currently have a deal where you can get all the paid modules as a bundle for $4.99, with future released modules free if the bundle is purchased. I'll be buying this on Thursday when I get paid. For those of us who might want to explore modular synthesis but don't have the money or space to purchase the expensive hardware kits this app is a great place to start exploring.

Thanks Tony Scharf for your recent Sunday night modular/drones sessions for getting me interested in further noodling and learning. And thank you to all the other modular owners on the list that share your knowledge with us noobs.
