> Will you actually need that fat upgrade? I've been giving it some thought, and I can't really think of a good reason to upgrade this machine other than to play the latest games (of next year). And that could be done with a dedicated games console running SteamOS.


I’m a huge fan of SSD’s, so yes: I’ll need that upgrade.  There is a massive difference in productivity.  But I don’t think I’ll need anything that OSX offers me ..
