I remembered acidlab has a nice small case not too expensive.

Rack 3HE: 80 euros
Power supply (flying bus compatible): 70 euros

Might be a good startup point, expecially considering I'm kind of
gagging for the M303 which - if it sounds anything close to my
original bassline - is a top notch monovoice and not really expensive.
