I'm actually starting to get back into softsynths. I have made great
strides in getting things set up so I have decent hands on control. Also
there have some great ones, like Diva and Element. I feel like lately there
has been a huge jump in getting that analog magic out of software, part of
which is sound, and the other part is much more simpler interfaces.

I can't wait for push though :) I had maschine and my monome (loaded up
with pitches app) set up this weekend pretending I was using push... A very
expensive version of push ;)
