If there's anyone who already knows he wants to use one of the
time slots for making music at the October 5th party, please let
me know what you'll be doing and what gear you will bring.

Depending on the number of musical acts, I was thinking time
slots of around 15-30 minutes would be a good idea.
So if you want to do just 1 funny song with an electribe, cool.
If you like to do a 4 man band act with 5-6 songs, cool.
Ambient space with laptop - bring it on.
But if you are thinking of presenting your new 2 hour concept
album with 11 guest musicians who are all playing Big Moog
Systems that need to be brought in the night before - not such a
good idea ;-)

The two last time slots can last until the party's over (couple
of hours - until 2:00 pm?). They are reserved for Mohsen and DJ
Geeza (Mareks and Wave Worlds friend from Poland) who can plan
their sets between them.

Musicians, please be realistic: it's not going to be Woodstock or
Glastonbury. So don't bring loads of gear. The stage and the
venue are small-ish, and there won't be a good opportunity for
sound checks - also remember it's a party. Just take a backing CD
or MP3 or whatever, and do your guitar, synth, computer, flute,
controller and/or vocal thing on top of it :-)

On the other hand - there will be a BIG NEW PA system including a
technician (Arie Jan from Marble Amps) :-)

PS1. I'm still looking for a place to give everyone a chance to
rehearse/acclimatize on Friday, October 4th.
I will take the Thursday to Monday off and will be able to do fun
stuff with anyone who is interested - going out for drinks,
dinner, lying on a hill in the sun, that kind of stuff.

PS2: I was thinking wine, beer, sodas, juices, tea, coffee and
snacks will be free at the party. There will be free catering as
well, so no real need to go out for dinner - unless you want to,
of course.

PS3. I don't want to be an ass, but the last 4 times people
borrowed my gear, it came back broken. A knob on my Prophecy was
pushed inside the housing, SM58 mic does now KRRGGHH all the
time, tape recorder needed a 200 euro repair, Roland Space echo
has several unknown problems.
So I won't be lending gear anymore. Please bring your own, and
there won't be any wry faces from me ;-)

cheers,
