Yes, but then it forces him to use pwn which is bad. I wonder how much
cycles he saved doing that and if it is worthwhile having to go
through major trouble to get anything connected.

I really like I can connect any old usb midi/audio to the rpi, compile
on it, ssh, etc. But maybe baremetal would be interesting to go from
the easy prototyping to a fully integrated board for instruments with
lower latencies/boottime.

I'm definetly interested to see where it goes but it's not for me at this point.
