Yamaha RM1X

There were two hardware sequencers that I actually finished writing
complete tracks on: The Internal sequencer in the Yamaha SY85 (I wrote my
first album on it) and the Roland MC50mkII.
I also just recently finished a track using just the Octatrack sequencer.
It is not suitable for driving external gear, but I have also written
several songs (at least in their basic demo form) on the Korg EMX-1 using
just the EMX one for everything. This was when I was doing more
industrial/dance music so it fit well with the sounds I needed.
I would say an MPC1000 could probably do everything all of the above could
do, but I don't have one anymore. Might add one back someday.
