speaking of iPad

What are those with iPads and iPhones using to interface them with their
gear?  I want to (as always) keep the PC out of it if I can and just go
direct.

I am looking at the IO Dock by Alesis.  I like that I can leave that at
home and plugged into the rig and just slide the iPad out and take it with
me.
